TENSES

Tenses is a form of the verb in the English language to indicate the time (present, future, or past) the occurrence of an act or event.
This is kind of about tenses :

1. SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
2. PAST TENSE
3. PRESENT PERFECT
4. PRESENT CONTINUOUS
5. PRESENT FUTURE



SIMPLE PRESENT TENSES
This tenses is usually not used to indicate present time. however, it is used to indicate present time (now) with the following stative verbs.
Simple present is used to indicate a regular or habitual action.
Form of simple present tense : S + VERB 1 + S/ES + O + Adv.of time (everyday) 
Example:
1. I go to school everyday (habitual action).
2. You eat a plate of fried rice everyday (habitual action).
3. She drinks milk everyday (habitual action).
4. John studies english everyday (habitual action).

PAST TENSE
The simple past is used for a completed action that happened at one specific time in the past.
Form of the simple past tense : S + VERB 2 + O + YESTERDAY
Example :
1. I wrote letter to my friend yesterday.
2. He rode his bike yesterday.
3. My brother swam in the river yesterday.
4. They swept the yard yesterday.
5. We went to Bali yesterday.

PRESENT PERFECT
The present perfect is used to indicate an action that happened at an indefinite time in the past.
Form of the present perfect : S + HAVE/HAS + VERB 3 + O + JUST NOW
Example :
1. I have had breakfast at canteen just now.
2. She has danced at the stage just now.
3. They have gone to school just now.
4. He has drunk coffee just now.
5. You have taken a bath just now.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
The present continuous is used to indicate present time (now).
Form of the present continuous : S + TOBE + V ING + O + NOW
Example :
1. I am learning english now.
2. He is driving his car now.
3. You are playing soccer now.
4. Anton is running now.
5. They are watering flowers now.

PRESENT FUTURE
The present future is a verb form used to express an action that happened in the future, either spontaneously, or planned.
Form of the present future : S + WILL + VERB 1 + O + TOMORROW
Example :
1. I will go to Bali tomorrow.
2. He will buy new bike tomorrow.
3. You will eat pizza tomorrow.
4. Susan will dance at the party tomorrow.
5. Anita will sing at the ceremony tomorrow.
